New low-sulfur biofuels are a renewable fuel that can reduce sulfur oxide emissions by as much as 80% or more, and carbon dioxide emissions by about 20%. If every using heating oil switched to a B5 blend (5% biodiesel/95% heating oil), we could conserve 400 million gallons of regular heating oil.
